Noen utviklere til iPhone blogger om prosessen med å utvikle sine programmer, og noen lager til og med videoer. Selskapet Ten23 Software har tatt det hele ett steg lenger. De har faktisk laget en 37-siders guide som dokumenterer hele utviklingsprosessen, beslutninger de tok og hva de lærte under utviklingen av programmet PhotoKast.

Ten23 Software ønsker at dokumentet kan gi innsikt for andre utviklere når de skal utvikle sine egne programmer til iPhone.
